Data Deletion Instructions

These instructions explain how to request deletion of personal information held by Clip Vero Video Inc., a Washington corporation operating under the brand Clip Vero Video. They also apply to information associated with your use of Facebook or other Meta services to access or interact with Clip Vero Video.

Your Right to Deletion

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected about you. California residents may exercise deletion rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA). Individuals in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom may request erasure under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or applicable UK data protection law.

These rights may be subject to legal exceptions. We will not discriminate against you for submitting a valid privacy request. Where deletion is not legally required, we may still honor a reasonable request at our discretion.

What We Delete

After verifying and approving a request, we delete or de-identify personal information associated with the requester from our active systems. Depending on your interactions with us, this may include account or profile details, contact information, Facebook or Meta identifiers provided through an integration, access tokens stored by us, submitted communications, saved preferences, and technical records linked to your account.

Deletion also includes directing relevant service providers to remove covered information when required and reasonably possible. De-identified or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably identify you may remain in use.

What We May Retain

We may retain limited information when necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful process, prevent fraud or security incidents, enforce agreements, document privacy requests, resolve disputes, or protect legal rights. We may also retain transaction-related legal, tax, and accounting records for the periods required by applicable law. Data in secure backups may remain until the backup is overwritten under our normal retention cycle, but it will not be restored to active use except for disaster recovery or legal compliance.

How to Request Deletion

Email [email protected] with the subject “Data Deletion Request.” Include:

  1. Your full name.
  2. The email address or account identifier used with Clip Vero Video.
  3. A clear statement that you want your personal information deleted.
  4. If applicable, the name and email address connected to your Facebook or Meta account and any available Meta app-scoped user ID.
  5. Your state or country of residence so we can apply the appropriate privacy law.
  6. Enough detail about your interaction with Clip Vero Video to help us locate the relevant records.

Please do not send passwords, government identification numbers, payment card details, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

Data from Facebook or Meta

You may first remove the Clip Vero Video integration through Facebook by opening Settings & privacy, selecting Settings, and reviewing Apps and Websites or Business Integrations. Removing the integration stops future access but may not automatically delete information previously received by Clip Vero Video. To request deletion of associated data from our systems, follow the email procedure above and identify the Facebook or Meta account involved.

Verification

To protect users, we must reasonably verify that the requester is the person associated with the information. We may confirm control of the relevant email address or ask limited questions about prior interactions. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and direct identity confirmation from the consumer. If we cannot verify a request, we will explain why we cannot complete it.

Timeline

We will confirm receipt within seven days. We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. If applicable law permits additional time because a request is complex or unusually broad, we will notify you, explain the reason, and provide an updated completion date.
